Michael K. Leger was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana. He is a Partner of DeJean & Leger, LLC and has been practicing law for over 25 years. He devotes 100% of his practice to litigation representing injured people and their families, focused primarily on personal injury claims, including automobile accidents, 18 wheeler trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, workers compensation/on the job accidents, offshore injuries and fire, explosion and electrocution accidents.

Michael is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the St. Landry Parish Bar Association. Mr. Leger has served as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-President and President of the St. Landry Parish Bar Association.

Michael and his wife, Angie, are parents of two daughters, Kathryn and Camille.
